The history behind the creation: Multicolor Striped Club Chair (Bethesda, MD)
This pair of club chairs were brought to our attention by a local client. They found us through our website and sent us an email with pictures asking if we would be willing to use their own new fabric to replace the worn-out and outdated fabric on the chairs. After reviewing the estimate the next day, they came by our shop to see the quality of our work. They didn't believe we could reupholster their chairs for such a low price yet still give them the high quality they expected. Below are a few pictures that show the original construction and engineering of these chairs, taking you on a brief journey through the entire process. Even with an untrained eye, I can appreciate the detail and symmetry of the fabric pattern in the club chairs after they've been upholstered. Look closely at the way this diamond pattern all lines up where the back, arms, front and seat cushion join.
